Terms of Service

I. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the LetSync mobile application (the “App”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the App.

II. Eligibility and Age Verification

The App is intended only for adults. By registering or using the App, you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age.

III. Intellectual Property

All content, design, and materials available on the App are the exclusive property of the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF). No part of the App may be reproduced or distributed without explicit permission from UCSF.

IV. User Responsibilities and Prohibited Conduct

  • You agree to use the App only for lawful purposes and in a manner that does not infringe upon or restrict the rights of others.
  • Misuse of the App, including but not limited to engaging in unauthorized access attempts or other disruptive behaviors, is strictly prohibited.
  • UCSF reserves the right to terminate your access to the App if you are found to be engaging in any misuse or unauthorized activities.

V. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, UCSF and the LetSync team shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of your use of the App. In all cases, UCSF’s total liability shall be limited to the extent permitted under applicable law.

VI. Termination of Access

Your access to the App will only be terminated in cases of misuse or unauthorized activity as described above. Withdrawal from the research study does not result in termination of access; you may continue to use the App even if you decide to withdraw from the study.

VII. Integration with Privacy Policy

Your use of the App is also governed by the LetSync Privacy Policy, which is incorporated herein by reference. Please review the Privacy Policy for detailed information on how your data is collected, used, and protected.
